Coding Prep Guide ("we", "us", or "our") respects the intellectual property rights of others and strictly complies with the provisions of the Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998 (17 U.S.C. § 512, "DMCA").

This page outlines our procedures for responding to notifications of claimed copyright infringement on materials hosted on or transmitted through this website, as well as the procedure for reporting unauthorized scrapers and unlawful copies of our original educational content.

1. Designated Copyright Agent

All written notifications of claimed copyright infringement must be sent to our Designated Copyright Agent:

Designated Agent: Syed Peera Saheb
Entity: Coding Prep Guide
Email: contact@codingprepguide.com
Address: Hyderabad, Telangana, India
Subject Line: DMCA Copyright Infringement Notification

2. Required Statutory Elements of a DMCA Notice

Pursuant to 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3), an effective copyright infringement notification must include substantially the following:

  • A physical or electronic signature of a person authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.
  • Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed, or if multiple works are covered by a single notification, a representative list of such works.
  • Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing or to be the subject of infringing activity and that is to be removed or access to which is to be disabled, and information reasonably sufficient to permit us to locate the material (i.e. specific URLs).
  • Information reasonably sufficient to permit us to contact the complaining party, such as an address, telephone number, and an electronic mail address.
  • A statement that the complaining party has a good-faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  • A statement that the information in the notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that the complaining party is authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.

3. Takedown Actions for Unauthorized Scrapers

All original pattern write-ups, code explanations, problem guides, and curriculum structures on Coding Prep Guide are cryptographically watermarked and timestamped in an immutable git log. When third-party websites republish our copyrighted text without compliance with our attribution requirements (or mirror our pages wholesale):

  1. We issue an immediate statutory DMCA Takedown Notice to the site administrator and their upstream hosting provider / reverse proxy (e.g. Cloudflare, AWS, DigitalOcean, Hetzner).
  2. We report the infringing URLs to Google Search Console via Google's Legal Removal Dashboard to permanently deindex the stolen duplicates from search rankings.
  3. If the infringing domain displays Google AdSense advertisements or third-party ad tags, we submit a formal AdSense Copyright Policy Violation report to eliminate their advertising revenue and terminate their publisher accounts.

4. Counter-Notification Procedure

If you believe that your material has been removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may file a counter-notification pursuant to 17 U.S.C. § 512(g)(3). The counter-notification must contain your physical/electronic signature, identification of the material removed, a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed by mistake, and your consent to jurisdiction of the applicable courts.
